One more thing, if you look at those formations in the canyon you'll notice the "drooping" appearance of the rock wall...with our recent storms and from this year's HUGE winter snow pack those falls will be in full force and covering more of the face of the wall! Much more beautiful and powerful than these photos...the waterfall is Havasupai Falls in the Grand Canyon. There are more I'll post later of other waterfalls in AZ! Gotta run!

Great pics Corrales!

And as Ponderosa said, all of you mid-westerners that haven't been here long.....it's been a helluva rainy winter so far.

All of those brown hills ya see around town will be greener than green in a 'lil while. Take a trip out to the real desert (not far of a drive at all), I have never seen anything like the desert blooms anywhere.

An incredible amount of fauna. Even in the middle of summer I go out with my buddy and poke around his parents' place in New River. It's amazing how much life is going on.

Those are ok, but to us in the Western U.S., rather underwhelming! White sand and some water isn't very enchanting to us...here are some truly magical and unmatched sites in Arizona:

Chiricahua National Monument:

Spring Break at Havasu; way to busy for many people:

Horseshoe Bend:

Ancient cliff dwellings of Montezuma's Castle:

Sunset in Arizona, purple mountains majesty :

Sycamore Canyon Falls:

Desert wildflowers a-blooming:

Havasu Creek Falls:
