Would be nice to have a Navy Federal Branch out here... Going to Southern California just to deposit money is pretty stupid.

So if you got Navy Federal, use it a few times a month for withdrawls and purchases. They refund you up to $10 in ATM fees a month, so I don't see why not???

C'mon!!!

You drive to Southern California just to deposit money? You know you can mail it in and they even have online deposits now? There is an NFCU branch in Yuma, isn't that closer than CA?

I bank with NFCU myself and it would be nice to have a branch here (hoping Luke AFB now that all services can gain membership), however, I've never found the need to drive to Southern California to do my banking.

I see we are neighbors in Goodyear, what part of town do you live in? I'm in Oasis at Canyon Trails off Cotton and Van Buren. You prior Navy? I'm an active duty Navy Senior Chief.

You can also get free ATM transactions at many Credit Unions belonging to the same CU association as NFCU, plus free ATMs at cooperating banks.

I'd kill for a branch....been a member for decades, FINALLY got a branch where I lived...about 2 months before I moved I wish NFCU would get the scan deposit setup like USAA has.

I also use NFCU direct deposit then I use a local bank here in town for those occasions that require local contact. From that bank I xfer money back and forth to/from NFCU. With Bill pay and cell phone notifications I really don't need direct contact with them. Use the debit card in Walmart/Safeway for cash back and no need for ATM's for cash.

They have it. Works a little different than USAA (NFCU requires you mail in the checks after you scan them), however, you can scan the checks in and they show up in your account.

Really? I must have missed it on the website. Have to check it out. I don't have direct deposit, so I use a local bank but I'd much rather use my NFCU account. Thanks!
