Wink music teacher looking for teaching jobs in phoenix area

hi all!

i am a music teacher in cleveland ohio if anyone plans to move to ohio to teach or work in the cleveland area turn right back around. it is awful here including the charter schools which i taught at. teaching jobs are few and far between, especially for music, but if you are looking for occ. therapist, speech pathology, science, math, or special ed. this is the place to look.

anyways---ok phoenix!!! i have a music friend who just moved to phoenix area to teach music, and he has already had several offers for music teaching jobs for the fall so i know there are jobs out there. i am looking all over the country, but am looking to get into a warmer climate.

i have been reading the forums on here about schools in different areas, but if there are any parents or teachers out there, have friends that are music teachers and know of any schools in the phoenix area that have great music programs, specifically for me vocal/choral/general music i would love to know. i would like to know if the school district supports arts and music, and if there is a huge need for teachers in developing areas.

i would also like a safer school district, if anyone can guide a young teacher who has only taught for a year to a great place where i can stay transplanted for a while that would be great.

also, how is the economy for marketing and communication (non sales). my boyfriend may move with me if i do get a job somewhere in phoenix and his degree is in communications. how is the job market for communications/marketing out there? is it mostly sales, or are there actual opportunities!

thank you so much all and i hope to get a few responses!!! wish me luck on my search!
