The peach tree in the backyard is getting new leaves/flowers...and while most of the tree looks good, one branch seems completely dead. The tree was planted about 4 years ago.

Anyone know what is could be causing this? Could it be because I pruned the tree too late? (Pruned it about 1 month ago, beginning of January, figured it would be a good time)

Yup, you've got a dead branch. Check out proper pruning techniques, and get rid of it. Peach trees are marginal here. . . sunburn is a major cause of failure, it is possible that the dead limb was sunburned last year. Remember to water deep and wide when the hot weather hits, but if you have developing peaches, too much water will cause a lack of flavor. . . best to water deep and as infrequently as possible. . . first sign of drought stress is that the leaves will lose their sheen, go a bit "grayish". .. takes an experienced eye to recognize this, but it's best to water before actual wilt happens, so take a good look at the tree daily when it gets hot.
