We went with Cox and have Phone (unlimited LD), the top speed internet, and cable with a couple of tiers (sports, variety, and HBO-Showtime).

I thought about Direct TV just for the football but I'm really only interested in the Cowboys and I can watch them a sports bar if they are not on TV that day.

Still have Cox for TV and internet, and Qwest for land line. Had some digital channels for awhile and then dumped them when the promo ended. Now revisiting the idea of package deals again. Standard is out, since reqiure Preferred internet speed for work. Essentials and Deluxe packages sound OK, with the three major differences being the number of tiers included, a premium channel included on Deluxe, and the Simply 3 phone option included on Deluxe. Anyone have either of these? Are you happy with it?

I have the whole package: phone, Internet, cable TV and every movie package that there is. It costs $200 per month. I would have to drop some movie channels to lower the cost. Not sure what to drop.

I had a lot of issues with Cox, and decided to drop them completely. We switching to DirectTV and with the promotion we got it's only 34.99/month for 200+ channels and a DVR, I paid over $50 for the same channels with Cox.

Only downside is I can't get internet unless I go back to Cox, but for now my neighbors WiFi works just fine.
