Anyone know where to purchase a heavy wood, rustic-looking farmhouse style wooden kitchen table - 6-8' long, thick legs. Something in that general descriptive area.

Don't want to spend $4000+ like most websites. I did see a Consignment place on the Carefree Highway, so looking for places like that that might have good stuff.

Believe it or not, ebay is a great place for furniture. It cuts out the middle man, because a lot of these wood workers sell their stuff to a gallery for $1,000, and they list it for 5 times as much. I just bought a diner booth for my basement on ebay, and although I had to pay quite a bit for shipping, I still saved several hundred over what I would have paid to buy something similar here in the valley. And it was brand new. Do a search for "rustic furniture" or something similar on ebay. Some may not be willing to ship, but most probably will.

it's 9 smaller tables on one big one. I think the big one would sell for 300 USD.

Default Example

THis is more like it. Big, solid, outdoorsy, like you're eating outdoors overseas somewhere in europe, in the woods, etc.

I found this one online at JC Penney. It's on the same idea of what you are looking for and the price is great. I have bought several pieces of furniture over the years from them at their Homestore and online. You can have it shipped to their store and pick it up there for a cheaper shipping cost. It's definitely better than Ashley crap but not as high end as Thomasville.

Also there are several consignment stores along North Scottsdale Road and in the Airpark, so try those. I personally would stay away from Terri's Consignment....have had bad experiences both buying and consigning with them.

Default Cool

Thanks for the photo and consignment locations. The table though is not what I like, but close. More bulky, raw-er, reclaimed wood looking, slightly imperfect, chunkier legs.

Anyways, people, keep the ideas coming. Much appreciated. Moving there in 10 days, and will hopefully close on the house too.
