glendale arizona, specifically zip code 85307 (Peoria: income, jobs, low income)

hi all,

i have been searching for music teaching jobs and have hit the jackpot with the phoenix area.

i am doing some phone interviews this week with three different school districts.

i have heard that the pengergast elementary school district is great. i have a phoen interview specifically with sonoran sky elementary in that school district

i have been looking at locations, and seeing that the school is in glendale, i am all confused about what i have seen on here about glendale neighborhoods , etc.

i did a mapquest search on the neighborhood the school is in and wanted to find out more about the neighborhood, what it would be called, the zipcode is 85307, school is on 10150 W. Missouri Ave.

its by the 101 agua fria and looks to be near luke air force base. is it safe, anyone on here know anything about the school/area???

I don't know much about that zipcode, but I had 2 friends who taught music in the Pendergrast district and they both hated it, and left after one year. They didn't get the admin support they deserved and it is a low income district, where music is not a top priority. I'd try a different district, specifically Washington or Peoria.
