Thank you all so much!! I'm so glad I found out about this forum when I did, since I got so much information about the area. I got the good, the bad, the factual, the not-so-factual... And not to mention, I've visited twice (I'll be visiting once more before the move).

It'll be such an adventure driving down. I'm sure it'll be memorable and I'll see so many things! I'm so excited to move out to the great Southwest and see what life is all about down there

I knew there was going to be a smart-*** comment on this thread... it was due for one.

I have a job lined up, so no, I'm not moving there without anything to fall back on. I've been on this forum for almost 2 years, so I know what NOT to do when moving to Phoenix.

There are lots of respectable jobs here (even at Wal-Mart-- an honest day's work is an honest day's work-- the people who work at Wal-Mart deserve your respect as well), I'll bet acrylic has one. Now stop raining on acrylic's parade, if you don't mind.

Congratulations...I think you will find that many people who live in PHX metro are friendly, helpful and down to earth. I have found it to be true. Good luck and may God Bless you.
