Default Chandler or Kyrene Unified?

I have narrowed down to either Anne Marie Jacobson ES + Bogle JH + Hamilton High for Chandler Unified or Brisas + Apprende + Corona del Sol in Kyrene. I have some listings that fit me for either school location.........but I dont know which is Better. I am relocating end of this month so I need help fast! Also how easy/hard is it to get in Kyrene district on an open enrollment????

I don't know about those specific schools. Have you checked ratings on greatschools.net? And also checked with the district re: open enrollment? Personally, with as quickly as this area is growing (hence, more kids added to the schools every year), I'd be leary about relying on open enrollment for my kids. If there was a specific school I wanted my kids to attend, I'd buy in those boundaries. JMO.

Edited to add: keep in mind that even if you buy in a current school boundary, it's possible they'll redraw the boundaries in the future. I can't speak to Kyrene, but redistricting is a hot topic in Chandler and happens frequently. Planning for high school with an elementary school aged child could be a problem as there are a lot of years in between when you could be redistricted to a different high school.

Default Good selection

My kids are in Hamilton right now and went to the elementary and junior high school you mentioned. We are very satisfied with their education. Hamilton is big (3000+ students), but it has a lot to offer: a wide selection of academic and sport programs.

My kids are in Kyrene, it's a great district. Parnets aroud here fight to get their kids in Corona because of its rep. Corona is a closed border school and you have to be within boundry so check that out before you rent or buy. Hope this helps.
