Can I rent an apartment without a job? What are some apartment complexes that I should look into?

Cheap, and you do not need to have a job. You didn't specify what area you were looking for or what exactly you needed in an apartment, so those are just very cheap apartments that will not ask you for much (if any) paperwork.

Well I assume you have a nice stash in your savings account. I'm sure there are a handful of crappy roach infested apartments that will approve you without employment but they might still ask for a security deposit and depending on your credit worthiness(if they even check)they may want first and last month's rent. You weren't very specific in what you wanted but don't expect a lot of nice desirable apartment complexes with good management to hand you keys without employment. Good luck!

Agreed. Just for the record though, the two apartments I listed are very nice on the inside and are not dumps at all, they just happen to be located in areas that many would consider less than desirable.

For further reccomendations you need to leave more specific information regarding what area you will be working in and/or based around and what your budget is and what ammenities are important to you in an apartment/area.

Well, I don't have a job....yet. I am looking for work in the Finance industry, preferably as a Financial Analyst. I have enough money saved up for probably a good six months worth of expenses. Rent wise? I would say the absolute most I could spend a month for rent is $1,200. Close to things would be nice, but I don't have to be extremely close. What I really want in an apartment complex is an area that is as safe as possible (I know there is crime everywhere). Also, a well kept complex. Who wants to live in a dump?

With a housing budget like that, you won't need to worry about living in a dump.

That will be your biggest issue. It's possible private landlords rather than property management companies will be more lenient, particularly if you can provide stellar references, superior credit history, and a substantial deposit. The larger complexes within your price range are more likely to be rigid in their screening requirements.
