Really only during the summer monsoons. When they come they can cause a lot of damage to loose objects. Scraps of metal, garbage cans, basketball hoops, rocks, and just about anything else loose will go flying. We actually had one microburst send hords of rocks into a mailvan and put a few dents in the car and broke like 2 windows. Another took down our front yard tree that fell onto our pathway and house. They can be powerful enough to shatter windows but it's not a tornado. Most people get confused with a tornado and a microburst because it occurs so quickly, rips across the landscape, then fades. Keep a watchful eye during our monsoon storms, when you see a huge dark wall of rain headed for you chances are it is capable of producing a microburst or microbusts.
