Default Car Windows Beware/Mystery

Since I have less than 10 post I am allow to put the web link but
it is in azcentral. It has happened in a few neigbourhoods - kinda
randomly - cars parked late night at the streets or driveway.
At this time of bad economy I just cannot afford to pay for
unwanted things like broken windows. So hope these crooks
are caught asap.

Goodyear police baffled by car window damage spree

Vandals shot pellets through more than two-dozen car windows in early Monday, authorities said.
The criminal damage spree comes less than a week after similar incidents were reported to Avondale police, authorities said.
............................
"It doesn't sound like a big deal, but broken windows can cost hundreds of dollars," Goodyear police spokesman John Rowan said.
..............
"This was kind of a rarity and oddity to have 10 incidents all related to air rifles" in the same night, he said. "It's very rare."

Yeah - it's either some bored kids or some glass companies looking for new customers......

hopefully they put a stop to it before much more is done - still pretty quiet right now and if it wasn't for the article I wouldn't of known it was going on - still need to get it figured out though

Absolutely disgusting, Landbox.

If "kids" are involved, WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS?

As with these damn Graffiti Thugs, I firmly believe that both parents need to be held fully responsible. Not just financially but after a few weekends removing the crap in the Arizona heat, they would quickly learn where their kids are after dark and what they are up to.

One thing that people can do is to throw out the crap in their garage in order to make room for cars.

Great point, altus, although no mention of a garage in this case.

Isn't it amazing how some people will leave what is very likely their 2nd most valuable asset outside while storing tons of worthless junk in their garage?

A lot of us have no choice Bummer. I have not had a garage available since I lost my house in 2004. Luckily, nothing like this has happened to me personally.

People have no regards for the property of others anymore. Back when I was a youth, homes frequently got toilet-papered but nothing more serious than that. Some friends and I used to drive around and plaster maxi-pads to friends' windshields, but that was the extent of it. We would never have dreamed of damaging someone's personal property, and we were pretty wild. Seems like so many don't have a conscience anymore.

I have good stuff in my garage and I keep it locked the same for my car, I keep it locked. just because you can get by with a hammer and pliers don't mean the rest of us have to and I know that you're the guy that wants to barrow my tools because you don't have any. My air compressor is used often as is my welders and paint gear. Glade I don't live in one of those G-D HOA's where you're told how to live your worthless life.

I could not agree more, LVD . . . exactly why I made the comment there was no mention of a garage being available.

In my neighborhood all homes have a full two car garage and there are many neighbors who prefer to park their beautiful vehicles out in the elements, both Mother Nature and the neighborhood thugs, in order to store worthless junk.

Hopefully this is not the case with the OP.

Last time something like this happened - with Scottsdale school buses - it was not "kids". It was a guy who owned a glass replacement company.
