Default I am in Chandler...think of moving out West...which city should I move to?

Buckeye/Happy Valley/Surprise

I am looking for 3 car garage, 3000 + sq ft, trend-type home (with negative things i have heard about them i dont think i want to do business with time...so alternatives builders are fine). prolly $270K for house.

I work in downtown phoenix...and currently I commute via bus...so I go/park my car at bus stop location, hop on the bus and i am at work in less than 45 min...
Is there something similar in the West? Were I can take the bus to work?

I am not familiar with the streets in buckeye...but I do know there is a bus stop at bell and I-17 which is close to Surprise. Are there bus stops in buckeye...do they go directly to down town?

what challenges are you facing in commuting from west phx/buckeye to City og Phoenix

I'd check the bus schedules online. I-17 and Bell is not close to Surprise, well, it's closer to Surprise than Chandler, but it's still a long ways away! Where is Happy Valley exactly? And have you found any homes for your price that has 3000+ sf?

You're not going to find many park & rides in the west valley, the ones you will find are in the inner portions of it.. Maryvale and such.

I-17 and Bell is NOT remotely close to Surprise, and the traffic on Bell is horrendous. Buckeye does not get full bus service, the bus service stops in Goodyear. I think there is a rural bus that heads out that way, but I'm unaware of the schedule.

A commute from Buckeye to Phoenix would be easier than Surprise to Phoenix, though the route from Buckeye would have more traffic, there isn't any direct route from Surprise to downtown, except grand ave.. and that's just a nightmare.

I think you'd find the perfect house in Goodyear, and Surprise, MAYBE Buckeye. But I'd suggest Goodyear, as it's booming, its nice, and it would make your commute easier than Buckeye ore Surprise.
