Is Kingman AZ a good place to live if you want to be within driving distance to Spokane WA? I know it is a diagonal direction but i don't want to live in a cold climate; just want fairly decent access to a route to WA to drive to my daughter. Read that Kingman is 94 deg. summer and 30s 40s deg winter. That is the type of climate i'm thinking about. Thanks for any help!

I'll be working close to the corner of E. Camelback and N 24th St. I need suggestions on specific apartment complexes or condos. Thanks

I made the move from Charlotte to Phoenix nine years ago (not because I didn't like Charlotte, but I took a job out here!) "Nice" depends on what you're looking for. As for a cabin by the stream I would suggest Payson or somewhere north of Phoenix. Phoenix is nice, but it is becoming a huge city of subdivisions where everyone does not know your name! Having said that, there are lots of nice places to live. Kiss culture goodbye, though.

Don't be fooled! Kingman gets as hot, if not hotter, than Phoenix in the summer. It's still a far drive to Washington State from there and it is a small town atmosphere. Good luck.
