Hii,
I am considering of moving to Phoenix. I have a few questions and would be grateful if anyone could answer them ! Thank you.

1. Parks
Is there parks around Phoenix that has tennis court? Open to public? I looked at on Google maps... and it seems like there are only paid ones

2. Health insurance
Does AZ have free health insurance programs that cover financial needy ones?

3. Diversity
How is the diversity there and how are people toward different races? I am an Asian

Thank you in advance.

1. Some communities have community tennis courts, otherwise most are pay. Here are a few in Phoenix that I found and were listed as being free to the public, you will have to call and ask them yourself for verification:

City Center Tennis Courts
602-256-4120
121 E Adams St.
Phoenix, AZ 85004

Phoenix Tennis Center
602-249-3712
6330 N 21st Ave.
Phoenix, AZ 85015

The Bottomline
602-840-6412
4444 E Camelback Rd. B
Phoenix, AZ 85018

2. There is AHCCS for those that are financially needy and need health insurance. Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS)

3. I think we are more diverse than others really know and most people here are indifferent towards race.

Mod cut: personal The OP didn't say he needed free anything. Of course, AHCCCS is good for low income/no income people to meet their needs temporarily, until they can get better health insurance. If people are coming here without a job, AHCCCS can help them get on their feet.

Check the Phoenix parks site, I think many city parks have courts.

Most all of the city parks have courts in the areas that I remember, I can't think of any park that doesn't have a court.

It depends on who you are dealing with in the area. I personally don't have an issue but there are a lot of bigots here it seems at times.

There are very few Asians in Phoenix. You are better off in Southern California or Southern Nevada if you want to be around more people of your heritage.

lots of tennis courts out here - many of the parks in the various cities have courts - also most highschools have courts that are open to the public as well (which is where I usually end up playing when I have the itch)

I can't really comment on #2 from experience because thankfully I haven't had the need - however, i know for many things AZ is pretty bare bones in the amount of social aide and with the current budget crisis I can't imagine it really becomming more robust

racially things out here aren't bad - income/class seems to be the main line .... there isn't a "chinatown" type neighborhood that is really established, but you can find little enclaves scattered throughout the city .... not a huge population, but you may still find what you are looking for .... i have friends who are filipino, japanese, korean and laotian and all seem to be pretty happy here

Nobody ever said the OP would have problems with racism. She was asking about diversity. I personally have no racism in me whatsoever. However, I would be dammed to move anywhere that was only 2.3% white.
