That's because Arizona generates unbelievable amounts of hate. It's quite evident from the continuous trolling which keeps flowing into the C-D forums on a daily basis.

It's a polarizing place. Everything about the desert is extreme. This is a unique place to live.

Culture, yes, but I thought this was about the weather. The desert is full of extremes. There aren't many places like it, so people question what it's like.

Good question. MN Born n Raised would likely be able to answer that better than I could. Then again, Minneapolis isn't exactly a fast growing metro area. It has been an established city longer than Phoenix has, yet Phoenix is the place with the explosive growth despite the extreme heat during the summers.

No kidding. Granted, Arizona has had its share of notoriety in the national spotlight, but some of these things happened way in the past and need to be buried by now. I can't believe how many times people still bring up the MLK Day issue, which happened over 25 years ago. Or the immigration law which happened over 8 years ago and has been watered down. Anybody can find things about every city or state to be hateful about, but who has time to post that kind of nonsense on a regular basis?
