Ok thanks Poncho. I'll look for another free photo hosting site, one that provides a link which includes a graphic file extension. I looked at the source code on Google photos and there is so much code it is impossible to tell what is happening.

While trying to find an answer for you I found my google photo album. It brought back memories which I had from my pictures on other sites and why I don't use the google photo elements...
Almost all the pictures I post are on www.flickr.com. Been using that since 2006. I have their pro account, but they offer a substantial free account.
My next favorite which I have actually used and still have is photobucket. Have been using their free account since 2006...
Poncho_NM I enjoy the months theme, it makes for some pondering how to fit a photograph into a theme, I can imagine this being time consuming and that you're a volunteer moderating this forum and understand your desire to eliminate it.

Yes, I am a volunteer in more places than just City-Data. After 5+ years there have been changes in the contests. Who knows what the future brings.
