Usually I, along with a few others, post notes in the other forums to go vote, but I don't think any of us did that this go around.

Great photos & good luck to the top 6!
I asked to do this in the Charlotte forum but I was told that only a moderator could do this as an Announcement (not a sticky). If I post a thread and requested it to be a sticky, I had to infuse some local spin to it so as not to violate the rules for the state threads. Alpha or Rance would have to be the one to post as an announcement.

Same thing when contest is announced.
My 2 pennies!
I agree. I usually announce it in the forum I frequent most because the mods are flexible but completely forgot this time. I liked having the announcement at the top of the page. If it hadn't been for an announcement I probably wouldn't have found this forum.

Actually, Rance and I can not do announcements.

That's only from the Administrator.

We made the announcement once or maybe twice but since it's not something within my capabilities, I can't control whether this happens or not.

I will make the request for the next contest though, and we'll see what happens.

In the meantime, here's the runoff thread! Sorry for the delay, gang, I'm covered up!

The most I can DM at one time is 3, so from a practical standpoint this really isn't an option.

The Admin and Senior Mods are quite busy and I even have a hard time getting a response on more crucial matters regarding these contests.
