Rules are simple:

All photographs must be your own and must be fresh - taken within the current month from the first day of month to the last Wednesday of the month. You may post your old favorites in any other threads but the contests OR assignments.

One photograph per Theme contest and one vote per each member. Voting polls will be visable for all to see.

Please add your ©copyright signature to your photographs when sharing on the internet.

No chattering or texting here. Use the DISCUSSION THREAD or the rep point system (click the scale on right side of post) for compliments or comments to the poster. I would like to keep the thread neat as later will be turned into a voting poll. At the end of the year, this thread will surface once again.

Dates - Starting first day of current month. Last day to enter photo's would be the last Wednesday of the month. We will be completely finished with winner announced by last day of the month. This is a monthly contest from the first to the last day.

Now go out and start shooting! This is for pure fun.

Not exactly sure what kind of bird this is, but I am almost positive it is not this baby birds mother. I think the baby is a Robin that my cat dragged up, and I set him in the bushes....and I think this other bird took it under its wing and has been feeding it now. Taken 6/4/10

Never quite sure which thread to use, but Congratulations CrowGirl! I've got a special place in my heart for Osprey - love to watch 'em and try to photograph 'em. Your photo did a great job of catching their nurturing character.
