I just kind of started playing around with Picasso and altering pictures. I know there's probably better software out there that lets you do more stuff but I just found a few effects to add to pics.

Anyone have any suggestions as to cool features in Picasso I havn't found yet? Any good sites that teach you how to use Picasso?

I altered a few pics last night, looking forward to playing around wtih some more after work today.

I'm also curious as to recommendations for my first digital slr camera, something on the cheaper side but still good. I keep hearing the canon rebels are good for beginners, is that a good camera?

There are several cameras in the Rebel line, they are all suitable for beginners.
