Thanks. That's a babe from a litter one mother brought around that year. We've got a couple females that have brought their litter to our backyard for 4, 5 years now. We get all kinds of them and most I've shooed off but these two have always been a little different. I've come across many over the years and never seen two as "well behaved". Sometimes I wonder if they were pets that someone tried to introduce back to nature.

I've got a bunch of pictures of them but between them and our squirrels I don't want to hijack the thread and turn it into a squirrel/raccoonfest. I'll just sprinkle in a few now and then.

That said, from July a couple of years ago.

Saw this for the first time today. I guess I should have known they use the foot bridge, but I never actually saw them doing it until this morning.

Fantastic coon photo!!!!!!!

Wish I had more shots of Nooc. This one reminds me when Nooccar would go into his elongated rectangular plywood den with the small circular hole. In the winter he would go inside and plug up the hole with his butt. There would just be a huge plug of fur bulging out making his den airtight. these critters build up a huge supply of back and kidney fat for the winter and now we know why. Again great coon photos! Thanks for the memories!

Too neat with the deer using the bridge!!!! Love to see wild critters adaptation to human impact.

Here is a really wierd shot I got of a pair of mergys the other day. I saw the apir as I was driving along, stopped in a precarious spot in traffic and only got two quick shots before I had to scat. I darkened the photo for artistic effect as I noticed my first name spelled out. I'm still trying to figure this out. As friends see it more and more images appear to make it seem like a collage.

Great shot sunflower!!

I was in a suburb of Milwaukee last week and saw a coyote right in the city. I was really surprised that they have moved in so close .... and by the time I turned around to get a shot he was gone.
