I upgraded this afternoon because I promised the HS10 to my grand daughter, and she is impatient....

The first two shots were at maximum zoom...720mm, handheld.

A couple more birds, then I'll try some macro and scenic stuff....So far I'm really happy with this camera.

Focal length 48.5 (272 mm), shutter 1/250, aperture F5.6



Focal length 66.4 (372mm equivalent), shutter 1/250, aperture F4.5.

I love the photos and I watched the video. The only advantage to the DSLR seems to be muscles.

Did I see right? Everytime the DSLR guy put the bazooka down (if you are going to lug something like that around it better shoot down tanks, too) he laid the camera down on it's lens???
