The other photo looks like a light house or something similar on the left and the ball thing apears to be a lot closer making it look larger then the light house/guard tower.

Does that help anybody out? I've only driven through that area on the Interstate and never stopped so I'm not familiar with what it could be.

I don't think it's a draw bridge though, is it? I have never really payed attention to that. I have drove past it and over it hundreds of times, but I don't know if it's a drawbridge or not.. lol! That's sad!

It's pretty, but small! Traffic is horrible! lol! St. Augustine is the nation's oldest city, all of the old buildings and everything are gorgeous!

Yes it is a drawbridge. I’ve never been there but that’s a great photo of the overall view!
