This thread is intended to provide an opportunity for fun and to have some educational value at the same time. Generally it is not appropriate to edit someone else's image and then repost it, but that is what this thread is exactly for! Permission for editing (and reposting only to this thread) is implied for anything that shows up here!

Want to just see what people can do? Post it here and see...

Want to know how to do something, post it here and ask!

Want something done that you can't seem to get right, post it here and ask.

I've watched this work on other forums, and it can be just incredible some of the things people can do. Wildly different ideas for the same original image. And it certainly can be a learning experience as well as just shear fun.

Default A whimsical manipulation for starters...

Here's an image that certainly is interesting, but it basically seems to serve only as documentation that this scene exists. It has nothing special about it.
It might be interesting to see what someone else can do to make it interesting.

Here's something I did for fun just to provide an example of the foolishness that should be acceptable here for manipulation:

Default Another image for play...

Here's an interesting shot that shows what shooting with the intent of post processing is all about. Feel free to post process it...
This is the same image in the form that has been on my web page for some time now:

Default Another for play...

Here's something taken yesterday. This one required a lot of manipulation.

I'm sure that others might do it better, and differently.
This is what I made out of it:

Great idea for a thread! We could certainly do more than theoretical bickering!! Can't wait to try it out. I'm assuming critiques are open as well?

Here's a somewhat diddled copy:

I also removed 2k bytes of padding and a 9kB thumbnail too. :-)
