Thank you, Laura. I have a series of them but they have done something to PhotoBucket and it wouldn't let me copy them. I'm going to have to find a different photo host and start from scratch. Kinda frustrating.

IT GOT REALLY ROUGH and NO ONE WENT NEAR. PEOPLE WERE ON STANDBY TO EVACUATE

THAT WAS SUPERSTORM SANDY on THE NEW ENGLAND COAST. WE WERE LUCKY---or SO WE THOUGHT!

BUT IN EARLY FEB. THIS HAPPENED. SNOW BUT THAT'S NOT SNOW IN THE DISTANCE, IT'S A TREMENDOUSLY HIGH SEA!

THEN, IN EARLY MARCH ANOTHER 22" OF BLOWING, DRIFTING SNOW WITH HIGH WINDS

NOW. DAMAGE TO BOARDWALK, NOT MUCH IS LEFT OF THE BEACH BUT 1/4 MILE DOWN, THERE IS NO BEACH AT ALL. I AM NOT ALLOWED ACCESS TO TAKE PICTURES THERE AS IT IS DANGEROUS. The winter of 2012/2013 will never be forgotten.

We had some flooding here in Southcentral Alaska, the Matanuska River ran over the banks










The last one is the remains of the house frozen in the river. I doubt it will survive breakup.
