!!WORRIED!! Sent Photos 2 Teachers.Now can my Child's Teachers see ALL My Photos sent from Windows Live Photo Gallery? (print, options)

I am so old school... I have windows 7 Photo Gallery. I sent a bunch of photos to my child's teacher's. In the Teacher's Email, to which I attached the photos, there was an "attach file" link. After clicking on that there was a"Browse" option. I clicked on Browse, which took me into me into my ALL of Photos in Windows Live Photo Gallery.

I selected one by one all the ones I wanted. And I was done. About 12 files, If this helps. After uploading or attaching all of the files, I could SEE exactly what each file name was.. Exactly as I had named them. FOR example: "My Daughter at Park age: 5" That is not my dilemma, STILL wondering if THAT should be a concern? Here is my dilemma. I am worried sick! I sent the photos to ALL of the teachers. However, when I checked my "sent" file to make certain all of the photos were sent, I opened one of the emails I had sent. Ya know, just to peek and see if the photos appeared.

WELL! Not only did the photo I sent appear, BUT ALSO editing links to the photos, in which I was able to click on/access to the teacher's mail I "sent to" ... In case I have lost you, let me explain better. I click on "sent mail". I go to "Teacher Mary Doe's" email I sent pics to. I open copy of email I sent to Teacher Mary. I then click on one of the links for one of the pics I sent . Let's say "My daughter and our Puppy". The photo does indeed open for the Teacher I sent to see,

***** ALSO ALL of the usual options I have in windows photo gallery to edit THAT photo ( and ALL of them!!!) When viewing the pic sent Teacher I see, above the pic, I see live gallery options I always see when opening photos in window live Edit, Organize, Or Share---File----Email---Print Slideshow. AND I CAN click on/open ALL of those options in photo sent to Teacher**** ****** Does my child's teacher ALSO see these options/links too!!!! CAN MY KID's TEACHERS NOW VIEW ALL OF THE CONTENTS/PHOTOS IN MY WINDOWS LIVE GALLERY??!!! WHY are they visable in her mail I sent to her????

HHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPP !!!! This has NEVER happened. What did I do? Did permissions need to be set?? Oh Lord!! Signed Super WORRIED and SCARED... BTW.. no porn *** PRIVACY is my concern

Try forwarding the email to someone you trust and have them tell you if they have access to more than intended. It would be best to have that person open the email on a computer other than yours to truly test this.

When you are clicking the link in your sent folder, you are probably signed in to Windows Live photo gallery so the options you're seeing are there because you're signed in as you.

Do you mind sharing which email provider you use? (Hotmail / MSN / something else provided by microsoft perhaps? This could have something to do with what you're experiencing.)

I am pretty sure the teachers haven't been given access to all your photos. It could depend partly on how you have your gallery set up. Really the best way to figure this out is to send the same email to someone else to test what they're able to see.

It is an online puplic school my daughter attends (Connections Academy)
She is in 8th grade. GREAT school btw.

The school provides it's own computer.. however my daughter's lost internet signal.
I am using our HOME computer. I can tell you the school is linked via our computer.. but then so is any other site... and thus far, NO ONE in the school has had access to ANY of my files or documents
on our home computer... NONE! And YES! all of my photos open in windows live gallery if sent from there.

I just hope in sending the email, since it is a virtual school, MY personal file links were not compromised.
oh my! I am afraid to even log on for fear I get an email saying "just so ya know we can see all your pics.. my daughter logs on to the site (connexus.com) is taken to various lessons for school. SHe has even opened our personal documents and photos while on there. nothing ever shared.

Says on login page, welcome to connexus the education management system...

I don't really understand this but...why not just log into your account and change the password or change album titles so that the link you might have sent doesn't work?

This. Did you do it?

The additional photos are stored on your computer which is why you can see them. However, it's highly unlikely that you have a network set up that allows access to files on your computer from the internet. It's possible, but not without a lot of explicit set up which you most likely didn't do. But to convince yourself either way, you need to either perform the test that K9coach outlined or simply ask someone at the school if your files can be seen. Or just don't worry about it because like I say, it's highly unlikely you have a problem here, if I understand your posts.
