What exactly is an "internet sized photo" as I have a 27'' View Sonic monitor and am very happy with the photos it displays taken with my 12 MP Nikon D90.
internet photos are normally reduced to 72dpi for the sake of speed of displaying. It takes a lot lower resolution to display a really good image on even a very large monitor than it does to print on canvas. There is a big difference in the resolution required for a 36x48" fine art photo printed on fine art paper or canvas and the digital view on a monitor. I could print a 16x20 from my cell phone and it look OK but it would not hold up to what the camera designed for the job can do. There is a lot more to the equation than just the pixel count. For print quality lens quality comes to the forefront too. If moving subjects are involved then the ability for the lens and camera to lock focus very fast is a must. That is what the likes of the 1D series Canon cameras were made for. I'm not familiar with the Nikon sports models but I know they have the equivalent technology. If you are shooting for a gallery or studio or end users you simply want to do the best job possible. You never want a competitor to be better than you are.
My impatience for the 7D MII is because there is a motocross track just blocks from my portrait studio and I want to be able to make very large posters of action shots. Up to 44x66" and you just don't do that with a pocket pistol.
It's hard not to wish your life away following the rumors. The new lens mentioned in another thread the Canon 200-400 4.0L 1.4X is on my rental list for a week. It too was a long time rumor that finally came true bigger and better than the rumors.
Just maybe this is a really new higher end cropped sensor. Specs look good and there is a promise of quality higher ISO's with a DIGIC 5+ which may be the DIGIC 6 which is already in production. These specs fit most of my needs if it is dust and moisture sealed. As soon as a couple of people review it that I have some trust in It may find a home here.

Does the dual pixel AF only work in live view? I'm always interested in faster AF. Other than that, I don't see a huge improvement (besides the digic 5) over my 7D.

I don't know. Need for dpreview to analyze it. For the first time I have a partial use for it. The wifi is needed by me too. I'd be hard pressed to upgrade from a 7D. My 1D MII is over 9 years old. To much post processing in low light. Shutter (heart) can have a cardiac any day now. Over 500k cycles it is long lived as it is.
