Well, all depends. For example, the guy in the link I posted has been quite successful at wildlife photography. Once the photographer acquires fame, he or she will have a clientele.

That said, I have no idea why you believe any lens with an aperture lesser than f/2.8 is not good. Just look at the photos taken with the Canon 200-400 f/4 (link I posted), and then tell me how you can do any better than he can with a faster lens.

Maybe you should consider the LEICA APO-TELYT-R 1:5.6/1600mm? It only costs $2,064,489 USD
