Find all these abandoned buildings so sad... and how vibrant they must have been... I wonder at no one buying the old school as a house... nice building as all old schools are... in Ireland the smaller schools are mostly holiday houses now and all done lovely..

Old cement factory has been torn down. Signs moved.

The Pyramid stood empty for years before Bass Pro Shop taking it over.

Sears Crosstown building, slated for renovation. They've been saying that for years. We'll see.
Always thought it looks like a cool and durable building that could be made in to condos like some of the Sears buildings in other cities.

Merchant Marine hospital near the current Metal Museum. Owned by the Army now, but doesn't appear to be put to any use.

The Crystal Mill, built in 1892 and was used to power an air compressor for mining tools in the Sheep Mountain mine nearby. The Mill was used until around 1920 when the mine closed.

Nearby is Crystal City, once a mining town of 400 residents now a semi-ghost town which a few people live off the grid only in the summer months.
