There's a bar just up the street from me that got me started on all this, I used to take my digital camera there everytime I went there. The previous owner used to let me go down in the basement, anytime I wanted, and in total darkness, I would just snap away. I must have taken hundreds of videos and photos in that place, and I'd be anxious to get home to upload and see if I got anything everytime.

This bar is old, started in 1932, and has a very checkered past. It used to be a notoriuos biker bar from the 50's thru the 70's, still is kinda. Many fights, stabbings, and a few killings as well. In fact, just about 6 years ago, a guy I knew went there with two of his buddy's, pulled out a hand gun and shot himself in the head right in front of his friends. Glad I wasn't there that night.

But this is the place where I started noticing 'orbs' in my photos. In the basement I would get the most. In the 60's some guy died from a heart attack down there, and he wasn't discovered till later the next day.

I did a lot of research on the place talking to older people all over town about it. This one lady gave me a phone number telling me to call this lady who used to bartend there in the 50's. I called her, and she was very nice giving me info like she did to a total stranger. Among many other things, she told me while she was working there one night, a fight broke out, and one guy fell down hitting his head against a table. He never got up, by the time help came, he was dead. This is just one of many similar stories.

Michelle, the bartender that used to work there a few years ago, told me she went to the basement to get more beer to bring up. They store it in what used to be the ice room in the 30's, the very thick original door that kept the ice cold is still used today. When she went in this room, the door closed behind her, with the latch locking her in from the outside! The poor girl was stuck in there for sometime, banging away on the walls, with no one hearing her with the juke box blaring so loud. This happened twice. After that, she put something between the door and the jamb to keep it from closing, and to keep it from locking from the outside when no one else was down there with her to do it.

Anyways, armed with my photos, testimony and some history, I contacted SGVPR, a local ghost hunters outfit: (San Gabriel Valley Paranormal Reaserch) and talked to a nice girl named Diane Melvin. They agreed to do a investigation there. I talked to the owner of the bar, and she agreed we could do a all night investigation after the bar closed a 2:00 am. Cool!

By the way, that face pic I posted was taken at this bar I speak of, havent heard any feedback... does nobody else see it? Just curious...

I'll try to keep from writing another novel here. (Yeah Right)

In a nutshell, the investigation was interesting. It was so cool to have the place to ourselves all night by ourselves, obviously it's impossible to do a proper one with with the juke box blaring and customers everywhere. A couple of things happened during the investigation...

1/ Somehow the subject came up about the guy who shot himself, and immediatly, this video game he used to play all the time went bonkers... I mean the screen just lit up, displaying odd images that normally never show, with the games loud audio to go with it. Apparently, the game won't, or can't do anything unless money is put into it. It was loud, and startled all of us. Michelle the bartender was with us as well, she knows how the video game works, and had no explanation of how or why this game would do this. It has never done this before, or after this night, at least not while anyone was there.

2/ About 3 guys were walking around with EMF meters all over the place. Diane went down into the basement, and placed a night vision video camera in the ice room, facing and recording the movements of the VU meter on another EMF device, closed and latched the thick door behind her, and came back upstairs. About 1 hour later, she went back down to the basement. She then came right back up, and almost yelled.. "No Way!" We wondered what happened. She asked if anyone of us had been down there since she went there to set the video camera up. Of course, we all said no, because none of us did, I was close to the basement door and would have easily seen anyone go down there.

When she went down there, she found the ice room door wide open. There is no way this could have happened unless someone physically lifted the latch by hand, and she latched it tight before she came up. This didn't surprise Michelle very much, after the door closed and latched shut behind her, locking her in a few weeks previous.

Unfortunatly, the camera she set up in the ice room wasn't facing the door, but the EMF meter on the opposite wall. But upon reviewing the tape, the audio was clear enough to hear the episode. You could hear a jiggling of the latch, then stop, hear it again, and then the sound of the door opening. At least we had audio evidence to go along with Diane's story, but we all really wished the camera had been facing the door. I can't recall if the EMF meter that the camera WAS on, showed anything at that time. But we were all certain, without a doubt, that there was no one down there when this happened. At least none of us, lol!

3/ That's about it really, except for the occasional orbs found in some flash photos, something that anyone could get in this place.

I have some more images I can post here.. again, from a video clip, and is one of the most bizzarest things I have ever seen. I was sitting at the bar one night with a friend, and was just shooting a random video as we were talking. When I played it back at home, I saw something, or someone, zip around from behind the bar, when I knew only Michelle was there, serving customers. To get a better look, I did my frame by frame deal again, and then could see something that was different for sure, a moving apparition, or something... looks mostly like a torso with no feet or head, it's just weird. What really pisses me off is that I lost the video when our computer crashed when opening a bad email, but I saved the seperate frames before that happened on a disk, or they'd be lost forever. Sorry guys Looks like this is yet another novel... hope all this isn't just boring you all do death...

OK, so normally I wouldn't EVER post a picture of myself here, but my hubby took this shot under our crabapple tree just yesterday and now I have no choice. This morning when I took a look at it and cropped it a little I noticed this ...



I enlarged it centering what I saw, but still left a bit of me in the picture so you could get an idea of the size and position. My first thought was smoke rising off the leaf. My hubby said it looked like a dove flying upwards.

The posible story behind this ... our black lab, Rozzi, passed away back in February and her favorite spot to rest in the summer sun was directly under this crabapple tree. Kind of eerie, and lovely, that our Rozzi might still be looking out after us.

Very intersting SkiChick, who knows, maybe that is your dog paying a visit. I certainly have read some convincing stories of pets that have shown themselves, like humans, in special ways if you pay attention to certain things, like photos for instance, thanks for sharing!

Heres one of mine..I had a friend who always complained about her house being haunted. So I took pictures through out her house seeing if I could capture anything on film. I caught a few things. There looks to be some kind of face in the TV and the shiney orbs on top of the tv is bright like its glowing but its transparent. There was nothing there to cast a shiney reflection.
