No, not the coliseum......

A kitten for a mascot, merged with another to form one 'system', but prior to that, it 'linked 13 great states with the nation'...
It had 'capitol' kind of logo.....

Why yes it is! The great Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, later merged with the Chesapeake and Ohio to form the Chessie 'System'. The mascot was "Bessie" of the B&O a tiger kitten....(Chessie was the C&O's kitten mascot).

This is an artist's rendering of the logo, in a seriously neat little vacation spot not far from my house.

I knew as soon as you said it merged to form another "system". The tracks ran right behind our property headed to the carferrys on Lake Michigan and we used to watch the C&O and B&O cars go by all the time.

My dad was a machinist for the B&O when I was little......once it merged into Chessie System, a lot of B&O men left the company.....Dad went into real estate, another passion of his, and was very successful at it....but in my childhood years, the B&O put a lot of food on ours, and a lot of other tables in our area.

Yepper. Close enough! *ding (ring the bell for the little lady)

It is a picture of one of the seismograph stations which tracks earthquakes on a global scale. This station is located in Cathedral Cave, MO.

FDSN Station Info - CCM

"Vault Conditions: The seismograph station is located in Cathedral Cave in the Onondaga Cave State Park in Missouri. This is a large cave open to tourists. Temperature and humidity are stable. Seismometers are on concrete pads attached to bedrock."

I have had fun with this site.
IRIS Seismic Monitor
I posted it on the okie forum for young enquiring minds like mine.
