I have some color snapshots from 1971. I want to share them with a museum. Will I hurt them by scanning or printing them on my printer? I'm concerned about the bright light they'll be exposed to. Thanks.

On the contrary, once you have them on the computer it is amazing what you can do with them. Here is a old photo of mine from the 70s...I spent about five minutes on it after scanning it into the computer.

Good to know. What does hurt them is trying to get them out of the darned photo albums from back in the day.

Sanspeur,,,, great answer and your example posted was perfect. I tried giving you another rep for that post but couldn’t.

Looks like I’m going to try and copy/scan more of the old’ photo album shots and fix them up. Too many have color problems just like what you’ve shown.
