Maybe I'll do the trial version of Photoshop Elements. I used to use GIMP. I found that virtually everything was better in Lightroom but I don't remember trying cloning. Lightroom works OK if the leash is just in the background and it's a simple background. With the attached picture below, I'm getting nowhere though.
Here is my attempt at removing the leash. Used PaintShop Pro. Less than 20 minutes of editing. An embarrasing amount of time trying to remember how to attach a photo...

Thanks. There are many great photography spots in Pittsburgh. I do have a few shots from the Johnstown overlook too though. All the other city shots are Pittsburgh.
