I'm not a fan of opening thumbnails, and can't say I'd enjoy going back and forth looking at all of them. So I'm voting for regular pics with whatever "size-cap" everyone decides is reasonable.
I'm with Chip. I won't even open most thumbnails on any website. I do know 800x600 fits without City Data resizing it.
Okay I'm late again, as usual, but hey the weather's NICE here now, so I'm OUTSIDE!! Anyhow, I'm chipping my vote for no to thumbnails....set a standard size, I mean images do not have to be MONSTER sized to get their beauty across!
Okay, that's what I thought. I think there are so many posts in this thread now that people aren't going to read them all and are just getting confused
They'll get bored to death before they get confused. The Photography contest always starts with one post outlining the rules anyway.
Alpha just opened it up for discussion and now we sound like a town hall meeting discussing the fate of Planet Earth.
Its not like I am going to win, so I really don't care. I live in rural Oklahoma, and the only architorture here is the old broken down abandoned barns. I'm going to leave the architorture pics to you civilized folks.
Happy Shooting. Someone wake up Alpha! Let's get this show on the road.
Alpha said the contest starts May 1st, with pictures taken no earlier than April 1st.
Redbird, I hope you still enter something into the contest. It's for fun and for a "civilized folk" like myself, I often appreciate the tranquility of a rural setting. Even if in ruins, architecture is everywhere, don't be afraid to find it.
"architorture" ??? I had to reread it a few times to get it! lol... that was cute.
