I've got a few more that I've done, but I've added some scripture to them. My thought is to frame them in barnwood and sell some of them at an upcoming art/craft show in April.
Peyton, the next time you are in Chicago, there is a blood-red cross sign on Diversey Ave. near to Drake Ave. NW side, 2700 block. near to Milwaukee, before Central Park. (I assume that it is still there). I don't have a physical photograph, but, it is very clear in my mind!
Thanks Chi! Next time I am up there I will try to make it a destination. If I get a pic of it I will post it in here.

Ely Cathedral, East Anglia, United Kingdom
Ely Cathedral (The Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Ely) is the principal church of the Diocese of Ely, in Cambridgeshire, England, and the seat of the Bishop of Ely. It is known locally as "the ship of the Fens", because of its prominent shape that towers above the surrounding flat and watery landscape.
In 1539, during Henry VIII's Dissolution of the Monasteries, the cathedral suffered only minor damage, but St Etheldreda's shrine was destroyed. The cathedral was soon refounded in 1541, although many of the statues in the lady chapel were severely damaged.
The building is still in active use, and also houses a collection of stained glass from the 13th century to the present that is of national importance.

Thanks,,, this is a little town in Bavaria called Oberammergau - it is famous for its murals... every building has some story or scene painted on it. The tradition started when.... (cut & paste from Wikipedia)
The Oberammergau Passion Play was first performed in 1634 and is the result of a vow made by the inhabitants of the village that if God spared them from the effects of the bubonic plague then sweeping the region they would perform a passion play every ten years. The play is now performed in years ending with a zero, except 1984 which was the 350th anniversary, and involves over 2000 actors, singers, instrumentalists and technicians, all residents of the village.

I posted this before, but had problems with my albums... I've since redone them so am no correcting the mistakes from lost photos... hope I get them all, for those who have asked about them. YIKES!
This is a Mariners Cross for all those lost at sea... I took this photo in Scotland, but it escapes me right now where I was at the time.... it was one of these two places in Glasgow: Dunure or Ayr.
