Default Thank you Blueflames! :)

I used two programs. I always use my Microsoft Office Manager to help with the focus, cropping, resizing, and exposure (you can adjust the light areas or the dark areas... or adjust the midtones.) A lot of times I'll click on auto correct, and that is all it needs.

The other program is Photoscape. Photoscape : Free Photo Editing Software (Photo Editor) Download Tinman warned me and it's true- watch out that your are downloading Photoscape (the blue button on the right) because there are several different programs listed/ shown that you might download by mistake.

Tinman shared this with me and it is fun! It can do a lot of what MO can but also, it can sharpen the image!

There are special effects there you just play around with and see what works. It seems a little confusing at first! I click into Editor at the top of the window. Then, there is a button that says filter and from there, I found something called Picorialization that lead me to color engraving. But really, it is all about experimenting and seeing what looks good.

I posted the following butterfly without special effects in the daily photo forum... http://www.city-data.com/forum/photo...y#post18590430

Here it is the same butterfly using the Photoscape program and the effect -colored pencil. It is a little light but still alright. I think. LoL ;-)

It is a lot of fun, that is for sure! You like LIghtroom better? There is not a free version? Right now, I wouldn't be able to buy anything. There is always later!
