June Photo Contest? (macros, shots , photographers, planes)

Hmmmm....if we can make suggestions, here's a few:

1. Summertime. Anything outside! Wide open choices there.

2. Cute fuzzy friends. Pets, wildlife, zoo trips, pick one.

3. Floral Fantasy.....lets face it, the world is a'bloomin with simply gorgeous color....lets have some fun with it.

4. Macros!!! Yes yes!! Macro close ups!!!

Just a suggestion for something different:

A contest with 3 - 5 things that must be in your "set" of photos. People would vote on the best set. For example these are your 5 photo assignments, one photo for each:

1. a bench anywhere
2. anything that flies (like airplanes, birds, bugs, etc. but not as passengers)
3. amateur sports (anything goes, team or solo, or even backyard, street or town park so long as the subject isn't paid for doing the sport)
4. steps
5. something red

I would probably go with 3 shots instead of 5 but I would make sure that whatever the 3 items are in the set that city, suburban and rural photographers would be able to find something to fit the criteria. I'd also make the period for posting the set of three, a little longer than usual.

You're close to what we're thinking, but not too close.

I'll try and get some time in the next day or so to draft and post a new contest OP and I'll stick it to the forum page.
