And x2cme asked me about the second picture... that would be Cloud Gate at Millenium Park in Chicago. Here's another angle.

Us Chicagoans fondly refer to Cloud Gate as "The Bean."  It's one of my favorite things about Millenium Park. Love the "faces" fountain too!

Thx again. BTW, all those Chicago pictures were taken using the 3.2 MP Canon A75 (great grand dad of your Canon A-series).

Here's one of my night photos of one of the face fountains. Again, it was the dead of winter, thus no spouting water. I have others, but they have more noise.
