SC? Sounds like a big step backwards over Chicago to me! lol

It all depends on what makes you happy, Steve-o, and for someone at my stage of life and who's so into photography, the Carolinas can't be beat! And besides, this is where my grandchildren are.

I'm heading up to Chicago this coming week. Hope to see some of those beautiful sunsets you photograph so often, soak up some culture, take a ton of photos, visit my old buds, attend a family reunion, and get the heck back out of town.

Honestly, you don't know what you're missing.

Ive been to the Carolinas several times. I could maybe handle NC, but SC just isnt for me. Way too hot, way too humid, no big urban lifestyles can be offered, too buggy. Its nice to visit, ESPECIALLY CHARLESTON, but living there is another thing. But like you said, its all what makes you happy.

Where did you live in IL?

Thanks for nice comments/reputation points, everyone. I appreciate them.

PeytonC - I use a Canon 5D. Lenses: Canon 17-40mm f/4 L, Canon 70-200mm f/4 L IS, Canon 50mm f/1.8. Almost all of the pictures I post here were taken with the 17-40.
