Hot Wheels Motorcycle. I opened a pad of watercolor paper and set it on my computer desk top. Turned a desk lamp from the side of the pad. Set the motorcycle in the middle of the opened pad and used a flash. Shot six photos and choose the sharpest.
Maybe its me but I dont get the 2nd part of the assignment??? Set up & achive? I just point & shot...sigh
Katie, if you had anything special to do to get the shot, that's what i meant. For example, i had to set up a white background, and have 2 lights to properly expose the product. While second shot of mine isn't quiet white, my first one appears to be more like it.

Glass bead bracelet made by a friend of mine. (She not only made the bracelet, she made the beads themselves.) Shot on a white dinner plate, lighting provided by pendant lights hanging over my kitchen island.
Canon Digital Rebel, 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, mounted on tripod. 13-second exposure at f/32. No flash.
