I'm responsible for the tape and stapler photo, and I know it doesn't look red. In trying to get the brightest red, I mistakenly used the "Vivid" setting on my camera. While it's true I haven't calibrated my monitor, it's not because of my computer. I can assure you, though, that both the tape holder and the stapler are really a true red.
I know, I have that tape dispenser, too, it's definitely red - that's why I was concerned about my computer or my color vision if everyone else sees the photo as red. I'm worried about my own photos if I adjust my photos with software to bring out what I think is red if everyone else looks at them and sees another color.
I know there is a difference between CRT monitors and flatscreens, too.
Mi_Mom, your daughter is very pretty, and she wears that hat really well! Oh, and your photo is nice too!
