I didn't have the camera ready when one of our cats brought a snake in to show off. When she presented it to mama, mama presented her and the snake a broom right back out through the door and closed it behind them. After a couple of weeks in time out and eating on the back porch the doggy door got opened again. No more snakes as of yet.

What's he doing - situps? LOL At least he's a fit raccoon!

That happened to a friend of mine years ago who had a dog door. He went to bed and THOUGHT his large dog had just got up into bed with him, snuggling against his back. Then he looked down on the floor, and the dog was looking up at the bed with a "WTH" look on his face. It was a very large raccoon. The dog door was sealed the next day.

The raccoon is playing with a ball that we gave it, but you can't really see the ball in the picture. This one visited us every night for a week, then we never saw it again.

It did hop up on the bed once (with me in it), another time it spent the night on the couch. It ran around the house investigating everything and was really no trouble except for being a messy eater.
