Whenever I go for a walk in downtown Greenville, I invariably end up stopping for a short rest on the swing next to this tree. It's a great people watching spot -- especially those who like to walk out onto in the rocks in the river.
Trees look like people sometimes. Strong in youth,weak in old ,sad in fall ,unhappy in winter without their beauty, get better in spring , proud with themselves in summer. useful in eating ,building and hiding ,useless to stay alone with it. good looking in the golden years and look terrible in the last years. Trees have a long life to do all these things with solid roots inside to stand up in front of the problems. We are the same.
Here is one my daughter just sent from South America...I have no idea what is is other than very big!
