ShepsMom, you live in the tropics. How lovely. I come from a tropical part of Australia but now live near the Canadian border. Very different climate and loads of snow in winter.

I love that first tree photo you posted. Amazing root system. I'll bet kids would love to climb that tree.

really interesting tree photos Len. The first reminds me of the Forest Gump movie. The second has nice colour, lines and interest with the various elements in it. The last one is very moody and ghostly like. Nice work.
