Here's a rainbow I saw yesterday. It wasn't around along. I jumped onto my balcony and got a couple quick shots. Move to the side of my apartment complex to get a better shot, by the time I got there it was faded.

I have very little open views of the sky, so it is diffficult to get a pic of a rainbow. This is about the best I can do:

Taken yesterday at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. A different take on a rainbow. This was outside an exhibit that had thick glass 'walls' around parts. The sun was bright and happened to hit the glass and make this rainbow on the ground. Thought it was kind of neat.

Nothing compared to the many great pics here - but thanks . I remember, due to jet lag, I was too lazy to move back maybe 50 yds because the camera was stretched back to the max of 35mm and I had no more wide angle left.
