As I look at those purple berries I'm thing how they will contrast against a white car. Amazing just what triggers the thought process. We had a mulberry tree near us when living in N MO. Seems I saw a lot of cars being washed frequently. I don't know if your beautyberries are edible or not but when I see berries I usually start thinking toast and jam. Especially when in a lovely closeup like the first image.

Don't know what these are, but I saw them on a tree yesterday while visiting Columbia, SC (Yep, I finally made it to our state capital!).
