Looks underexposed but I have no idea what your intension was with the image or what it should look like so I can't really say. I would just calibrate the monitor as usual.

Same here...don't know what your settings are, but it looks fine to me otherwise. Nice shot too, BTW!

Don't you hate it when you see a spelling mistake in your post and you can't go back and change it? I mean "intension" what the hell were my fingers thinking?

The picture was unedited/untouched up as the original in my camera.

It looks fine to me, but then all I have to go by is my monitor too. You would probably the best judge by comparing the real item to what you see on your monitor.
By the way, what type and size of monitor did you get?

ImRandy, I feel the same way you do when it comes to finding typo's, don't sweat it though, I knew what you meant.

This one also looks a little underexposed. Most LCD monitors are set far too bright, that could be the cause.

The first photo looked a little underexposed to me as well. The second picture was a nice red. I didn't think it was too bright. Looked fine to me.

Wasn't the first photo on a possible dark and dreary day? It looks like it is a stop under. The red looks good on this monitor but it is not my graphics monitor I edit on. I will have it back in a day or two and take another look. Then I may see what I can do with the top photo if ya like? Let me know.
