Last night, a slow moving snow band traveled north making a stop in the Buffalo area. While, not as much accumulation as (our) southtowns, my city got about 5-6 inches of the pure white snow. At one moment there were no cars driving by, the only sound you could hear is a light hiss of falling snow on the ground and rooftops. It's the best kind of silence. I also discovered that my macro lens works well for nighttime pictures (considering the snow was falling quickly)
I went for a walk to the park this morning with my zoom lens to find some shots to share.

Nice Pics! It is a beautiful sight to see snow in Buffalo as it silences everything but its own constant hiss of gentleness.
