I *love* photographing spiders. They're so interesting when you can get a close look at them. I especially love finding their eyes - all eight of them, though I usually see an average of four.

Here are some recent spider shots. This one was taken on my rosemary bush:



This was taken on my Italian parsley plant. He was tiny. He kept playing hide & seek with me. I had to keep turning the pot until he finally stood still long enough for me to get the shot.



Yellow orb weaver. This was a big one, her body alone about 1 1/2 inches long. She wove a fabulous web between our blueberry bushes, and stayed there for a few weeks.

Not a macro, and like Claire, this is about as near as I want to be to these cicada killers! I hate them with a passion!!!
