THIS IS AN AWESOME PICTURE AND STORY!!
This is one of those times when you know that there is a master plan that we have not seen. In the picture is a fawn that a family in Oregon found on their front steps. As you can see the fawn has been nicely camouflaged by the mother. The apple blossom petals match the markings on the fawn almost exactly.



The mothers are know to leave the fawns for short periods and then come back for them. That is what happened in this case. The family that found the fawn left it alone. The mother came back for the fawn a short time later.

How cute! My girlfriend rescued one on a highway at 3am a few years ago. The mom deer jumped the divider but her baby could not make it over. She was able to stop cars and someone helped her get the little fawn. She brought him to my house at 4am in the morning to borrow a big dog crate. She slept all night with him in the crate! We took him to an Animal Hospital that treats wild animals. He was later released to a Wildlife Center and put back into the wild a few months later. I was lucky to have held him! He cried like a little baby lamb.

Oh gosh that is so sweet and that is something you will remember for the rest of your life and thanks from a fellow rescuer who does things like that at 3 am as well .
